She is the creator of the handmade accessory line, Marissa Toni worn by such celebrities as Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas.  Her pieces are designed for tweens and teens who love color and long for something different.

Rizzuto is the author and creator of “Fashion Boot Camp 101” which launched in 2008.  This program is designed for teens looking to pursue a career in the fashion industry and offers mentorship, advice, tips and on-line classes.  Marissa started FBC 101 when she realized that more and more teens were gaining and interest in the fashion industry.  After receiving emails all over the USA asking if workshops were held in their cities, Marissa decided to offer one-on-one phone workshops, on-line classes and write her FBC 101 Guide.

Marissa thought a “Boot Camp” style workshop theme fit because in just a short time, teens can gain the crucial information needed to start getting their foot in the door as well as learn what really goes on behind the scenes.

In October 2011, FBC 101 officially launched their first Teen Fashion Styling Class tour.  Teens in select cities get to step into the heels of a real fashion stylist by running their own photo shoot with a model while borrowing clothing from Forever 21 and Lulus.com.

Marissa has been featured on Your Morning Live with Connie and Greg, MSN and NBC. Her styling tips and products have been featured in InStyle, Life & Style Weekly, Teen Vogue, CosmoGirl, Girl’s Life, Bridal Guide, among others. FBC 101 was voted #1 Most Glamorous Home-Based Business 2009 by Startupnation.com and made the list again in 2011.

Prior to styling, Marissa worked for Nicole Miller and Nomination Jewelry.  Rizzuto got her start at FIT in Fashion Merchandising and attended the Make-up Designory in Los Angeles to study Wardrobe Styling. She resides in her native New York with her husband.
